Kurt Cheramie is Senior Vice President for Kinetica Partners, LLC, Kinetica Energy Express, LLC, and Kinetica Midstream Energy, LLC.
Kurt has thirty-seven years’ experience in various aspects of the natural gas pipeline industry.
Kurt attended Louisiana State University and Nicholls State University, and holds a BS in Accounting from Nicholls State University.
Prior to becoming part of the Kinetica team, Kurt spent 33 years working for Tennessee Gas Pipeline Company, a subsidiary of Tenneco, Inc., then El Paso Corporation, then Kinder Morgan. While still in school, Kurt worked at a Compressor/Dehydration Station as an intern for four summers. Upon graduation from college, Kurt began his professional career in Field Operations working in the Pipeline Crew. His duties included pigging operations, pipeline coating systems, cathodic protection, chemical runs, construction inspection, pipeline maintenance, and general pipeline compliance. Two years later, he was promoted to Right of Way Agent, acquiring permits for projects, negotiating with landowners, and interacting with state and federal agencies (BSEE, PHMSA, DNR, WL&F).
